Many churches allow a time of viewing prior to the services in the church. For those who are active church members and the policy of the church allows for viewing in the church, a time of viewing in the church prior to the service is a fitting way to conduct the services for a loved one, while lowering the cost of the funeral. A funeral costing $6695 with a viewing at the funeral home would cost $6295. These prices would apply to any church or cemetery within 25 miles of my funeral home. Additional transportation charges would apply over 25 miles.
If a family elects to have the service in the funeral home and a short viewing period prior to the service (viewing no longer than one hour prior to the service) a funeral which would cost $6695 would cost $6295
With these packages the viewing and service would all be on the same day, whereas in the more traditional service the viewing and services would be over several days.
